Welcome to Bierschenk Quarter Horses
We're a small family run ranch located in North Eastern Iowa, where we're busy raising beef cattle, Foundation Bred Quarter Horses, and our two small boys.  We started 12 years ago raising the horses, to help us with the cows and help support our local 4-H program and rodeo participants.  Since then, our horses have spanned a lot of the Eastern states and continue to grown in interest locally.
Our breeding program consists of horses that are bred for versatility, athletic ability, good conformation and excellent dispositions.  We use the horses raised here for cutting, sorting and moving our cows several times a year.  We also like going on the occasional trail ride or competing in a team penning/sorting competition when time allows.
Our stallion Krogs Classy Clyde is an extremely gentle boy who is often mistaken for a gelding.  With a very willing spirit and sweet disposition, he is the rock of our breeding program.  His progeny are starting to prove themselves in the showring and arena, excelling in speed and timed events and halter.  Some have also been doing quite well in Western Pleasure.

All of our horses are on a vaccination and worming schedule and get their feet trimmed when needed.  The babies are born on 20 acres of beautiful pasture complete with two ponds.  They really seem to thrive on the wide open space and I love taking pictures of them kicking up thier heels in the green grass and sunshine.
If you are in the market for a good quality, versatile horse, with good foundation blood, we just might have what you are looking for. Also we offer discounts on our horses to people who intend to show at AQHA approved shows and 4-Hers. Thanks for stopping by and looking at our horses.

Sincerely,

Dave and Lori Bierschenk
